Kat Johnson is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and an
Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Northern
Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the
University of Missouri-Columbia and her Masters of Science in
Nursing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She has been a
CPNP since August of 2002, but practiced as an RN in the pediatric
intensive care unit and cardiac/pulmonary transplant unit for many
years before becoming a nurse practitioner. She is married and has
3 wonderful children who keep her busy. She enjoys reading,
spending time with her family and friends, anything outdoors
(especially riding bikes, camping and skiing), and admits to having a
few TV shows that she can't miss each week!
